We are delighted to congratulate ACO Ph.D. student Hoang Nguyen on receiving a prestigious IBM Fellowship recognizing exceptional research. Hoang's achievement is a reflection of his talent and dedication, and showcases the breadth and depth of research being conducted in the ACO program.
Hoang plans to work on methods for analyzing the mixing time of countable state space Markov chains (such as queuing systems), the convergence behavior of Stochastic Approximation, and AI reasoning methods. He would like to thank his advisor, Professor Siva Theja Maguluri, for his support throughout the journey.
