Luke Postle wins the ACO Outstanding Student Prize

The committee consisting of Ernest Croot, Ton Dieker (chair) and Milena Mihail selected Luke Postle as the recipient of the 2014 ACO Outstanding Student Prize. The prize consists of a citation and a cash award. It was established thanks to a generous donation from the late Professor Emeritus Richard Duke.

The citation reads: "ACO Outstanding Student Prize is presented to Luke Postle for his scientific contributions during his tenure as a Ph.D. student. This prize recognizes: his scientific leadership and collaborative attitude, which stimulated fellow students; his dissertation, which makes a decisive contribution to the subject of colorings of graphs on surfaces; and the quality and breadth of his research."
