Dana Randall receives Dean's award, Sarah Miracle Dissertation Award

Two members of the ACO family claimed awards during the 25th Annual College of Computing Awards.

Dana Randall, ADVANCE professor and director of Algorithms and Randomness Center (ARC) was recognized for her work and commitment to the advancement of women in academic, scientific, and engineering careers. Dana received the Dean's Award.

Sarah Miracle (PhD ACO'15) was presented the College of Computing Dissertation Award for her thesis entitled "The effects of bias on sampling algorithms and combinatorial objects', written under the direction of Dana Randall.
